Lion's Pride Mentoring Co-Founder and Executive Director Jasmine Gilstrap along with 8 other nonprofit leaders shared their 3-minute pitch with an audience of over 350 both virtually and in person at SVP Chiago's Fast Pitch showcase on Thursday, May 12. Together, this year's pitchers raised over $48,000!

SVP Chicago's Fast Pitch event is a free, two-month communications training and mentoring program for innovative nonprofits that are effecting social change in Chicago that culminates in the Fast Pitch showcase in May.
Nine nonprofit leaders are selected to participate based on the outsized potential impact of their organization in their communities. These leaders receive training and mentoring from a team of SVP Chicago partners who will coach them over the course of two months on how to “tell their story” in a powerful and compelling way.
Executive Director Jasmine Gilstrp was coached this year by Fit Together CEO Eileen Hamra, Jabian Consulting Executive Director and Chicago Market Lead Daniel Hickey, and World Bank Group Global Finance & Entrepreneurship Specialist Mohini Bhatia.
